POLICY / PRICING

9:02 pm Friday April 26

Classes are currently suspended due to our move.  We are currently setting up the studio (again), and are grateful for your patience.  It won't be long now, and it feels like an eternity to us as well.  I work full time days outside of the studio at a Mechanic Shop, which also means when I'm not at the Shop, I'm in the Studio for you!

We enjoy our students, and wish to keep classes small enough that every student receives enough one on one instruction.  We have found that most students do not need more than an hour of dedication within each class, however; we will be present and available for any and all questions.

  1. We teach when YOU are available, evenings, or weekends.
  2. FIVE (4 hour) classes, with at total of 4-5 finished projects for you to take home.
  3. Students must wear closed toe shoes, and long pants.
  4. $75.00 non-refundable fee is due prior to first class.
  5. $125.00 non-refunable fee is due at the end of first class, if you choose to continue for the remainder of 4 more classes.  This is to ensure you actually like working with stained glass, and to secure your placement & supplies for the remain classes.
  6. Students will be required to purchase their own solder.  We have some here in the studio, at discounted rates for you.
  7. Tools and glass, are provided for in studio work.  We have a great selection of patterns available for all skill levels, but are also open to custom drawing patterns for a fee as you progress.
  8. Students are required to wear closed toe shoes while in the studio, no exceptions.  Safety around glass will be taught, with constant reminders, while you get used to working with this medium.  We encourage you to tie your hair back if it is longer than shoulder length, and making use of an old long sleeve button down shirt for a smock is never a bad idea.   You'd be shocked to know where you will find glass later!
  9. The radio is on in the shop, sometimes even a TV for background noise.  Laughter is required, and found often here ... looking from outside in, you will even see celebratory dancing!
  10. All projects are yours to keep!  The subject for your project are your own choice; but the color scheme is truly up to the glass itself ... just you wait, you'll understand soon.
